Homework
This week I am asking students to complete assignments from class as their homework. We have been reading Freedom Walkers for the past two weeks and have completed a number of activities from the students' Reader's Notebooks. In order to move on to the next story, I am going to ask students to complete the reading and Notebook pages at home and turn them in on Friday. Here is a list of pages must be completed. Most of this work was supposed to have been completed in class. If you student is struggling with the reading, please feel free to offer support. This is a challenging text, with a lot of vocabulary and topics new to the kids.
Student Notebook Pages: 121-130, 132-133, 138,143-144
Thank you for your help in getting this story wrapped up. Please be sure your student takes very good care of their book. It is important that we keep these in good shape for the upcoming years.
